the vibe: elegant and serene
A soft, feminine city girl marries a rugged Australian rugby player in a celebration inspired by their unique love story. “Utah is where our story began, where friendship turned into something so much more. Its mountains, quiet beauty, and the memories we made here all led us to this moment. Getting married in the Rockies just feels like coming home—to the place where love found us,” recalled the bride. They envisioned a wedding that felt like a hidden destination—remote yet refined. The design, brought to life by Dawne Events, struck a balance between elegance and natural simplicity. Elevated and sophisticated, yet grounded in the wild beauty of 25 private, untouched acres in the Rocky Mountains. Intimate, serene, and set against expansive, unobstructed views, it was a celebration that felt both luxurious and deeply personal.
The ceremony took place beside a peaceful creek, where floral pillars framed the setting and a winding path of blooms by Mille Fleur Design evoked the feeling of a wild meadow. Inside the reception tent, an oversized sparkling chandelier set a glamorous tone above round, clustered tables adorned with cascading floral arrangements. Light-toned, textured linens paired beautifully with natural wood wishbone chairs. A custom-monogrammed bar and spacious dance floor completed the scene. Orchids were thoughtfully woven throughout the floral design, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication.
the invitations
In keeping with the timeless design, guests recieved ivory invitations in the mail with a rich linen-colored RSVP card and a sage program that let them know what to expect for the wedding day. The tasteful suite was sealed with a wax seal and custom monogram.
the fashion
The bride wore an elegant A-line satin gown from The Bridal Studio Utah. The structured bodice and scoop neckline were accentuated with delicate off-the-shoulder drapes for the ceremony. She paired the look with a flowing veil, pearl drop earrings, and white bouquet for the ceremony. The groom was dashing in a classic black tux.
the cake
For dessert, the couple cut into a three-tiered ivory Lambeth-style cake. The ornate buttercream details paired beautifully with the fullness of the floral arrangements.
