the vibe: vibrant and joyful
Inspired by the firey shades of a tropical sunset, the couple leaned into all of the joyful feels of a destination wedding. The first order of business was finding the perfect venue and it was love at first sight when they found Dreams Tulum. With the crystal blue waves as their backdrop and the palm trees swaying in the wind, the two exchanged vows under a colorful ombre rose floral arch. The sunset vibes continued into the reception with the repurposed arch framing the sweetheart table.
the fashion
Tracey wore a stunning mermaid gown by Made With Love Bridal with chiffon sleeves that draped gently off the shoulder. The bridesmaids pulled inspo from the color palette and sported flowy maxi dresses in shades of orange and pink. Derek wore a light gray linen suit for the occassion with his groomsmen in tan.
the cake
The couple cut into a simple three-tiered wedding cake with a meringue buttercream frosting, decorated with live flowers, and topped with a custom topper.
the dance party
Then, it was time to really get the party started. Sparks flew as the couple took to the floor for their first dance as husband and wife, then everyone else joined in and danced well into the night.
